About Mother of Exile Band
What began in 2001 as a creative friendship between metal vocalist Brandon Bizarre and guitarist-producer Sully Exile became something much bigger than the two middle-school classmates could have ever imagined. Mother of Exile is their two-decades-long vision brought violently to life, bolstered by the tandem of guitarist/ bassist Pinky Salyer and drummer Maxx Smith. Since their Denver debut, the group have shared stages with several high profile metal bands, including Hemlock and international touring band Infected Rain.
Mother of Exile's roots include a vast array of sonic influences that have come together to form their sound of choice. High energy percussion, explosive layered arrangements, sprinkled progressive metal elements, and deeply connected lyrics form the foundation of their musical renaissance, drawing comparisons to monolithic metal bands such as French metal heavyweights Gojira, Lancaster metalcore band August Burns Red, and Pittsburgh hardcore band Code Orange.
Mother of Exile's newest release marks a definitive turning point as the band bring their sights inward, staring down personal demons and reliving painful internal narratives on their way to unexplored territory in the genre.
