Come one, come all we’re selling chaos for the world to see! The muzzled zombies turn their heads to mindlessly feast on the next distraction; two clowns putting on a show. As if 2020 couldn’t get any more exciting, the first presidential debate left us all asking ourselves, is this real? The illusions of hope; the empty promises; and the sight of two mentally unstable “leaders” battling it out for supremacy created the inspiration for “The Show.” 

The track was built around the idea / hook, “Welcome to the show with Donny and Joe.” Brandon’s vocals take on various characters throughout the track including what we called The Showman, The Demon, and The Clown. None of the vocals are sound effects; everything was done in house. There is a sense of panic and chaos in Brandon’s voice that reminded us of the bipolar mayor from the movie “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
